We have everything within reach which we lose sight of due to the rush of everyday life, the needs of modern civilization, and professional demands. Rzepedź is a village which prides itself on its centuries-old history, in which there is no shortage of both happy and tragic years. Originally it was called Repit (County of Komańcza). For over 400 years the people lived happily using the fertile land and clean water. On the green slopes the Rożynkania grazed their herds. The thousand strong community had good living conditions. 
All that changed in the mid-twentieth century, when war and political conditions wiped this idyllic village off the map.
People were displaced and abandoned farms turned into weeds. Fortunately Rzepedź didn’t quite disappeared. Reborn after many long years, Rzepedź shares its beauty and hospitality.
